George T. Haskin

George T. Haskin, 79 of Sebring FL, passed away March 16, 2022, peacefully surrounded by his family at his bedside. George was a true Redskin fan from the day he was born, and he made sure everyone knew it. He shared his dance of life with his wife which he always referred to as his bride for their 48 years of marriage. George was born on March 28, 1942, in Washington D.C., to Roy E. Haskin and Ruby E. Haskin. He worked for most of his life beside his father helping run the chain of dry cleaners.

He is survived by his wife, Julie Haskin, and their 3 children, Bill, Beth (Tate), and Roy (Chrissy). He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren, Josh, Brandon, and Olivia, and 5 step-grandchildren, Bella, Hunter, Aaron, Elijah, and Connor. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Ruby. He was truly one of a kind and anyone that met him, couldn’t help but love him.

His Celebration of Life will be Friday, March 25, 2022, at ST. John United Methodist Church of Sebring, 33631 Grand Prix Dr., Sebring, Fl. 33872. Immediately following the Church Service, come join us for food and memories at the Moose Lodge at 1318 W. Bell St, Avon Park, FL 33825. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to St. Jude’s hospital or Shriner’s, his 2 favorite charities.
