Gerald Rex Cowles

Gerald Rex Cowles, age 78, passed away on June 27th 2016 in Burien, Washington. Rex is survived by his Wife, Donna of Des Moines, and two children; Danna Malkuch and Colleen Woods. Rex and Donna have several loving Grandchildren; Tyler Malkuch, Morgan Larche, Mandy Schumacher, Jessica, Blake and Garrett Moran. He is preceded in death by his Sister, Rose and Brother Lee of Michigan.

Rex served our Nation in the Navy then later joined the Boeing Family where he worked for more than thirty five years.

Rex was a wonderful husband and a loving father. He enjoyed spending time at family get-togethers, yelling at Grandchildren's sporting events, fishing and spending time at the ocean.

His family and friends will always remember him as a person with a witty sense of humor and a caring heart. He will be missed by all. .

A funeral is scheduled for Thursday, July 21st, 2:00 PM at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Wash. with a reception to follow at 4:00 PM. Reception address is 12508 23dr St. Ct. E. Edgewood Wash. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Rex's life. The family would like to thank Highline Hospital for taking such good care of Rex during his last days.
