Gerald "Jerry" Lester Gleim

Began working at Boeing in 1967 as a Technical Illustrator
Met wife (Robyn Dixon) at Boeing and they married in 1969
Long-time, well-known member of the Tacoma Bowing Assoc.
Worked at Pacific Lanes for a short time in the late 1960s
Bowled in Men’s Classic Leagues and tournaments at several different bowling centers from 1960’s through the mid-1990s
After leaving Boeing in the early 1970s, Jerry also became active in the local golf community.
In addition to enjoying rounds with friends and playing in tournaments, he was the assistant pro at Brookdale Golf Course (Tacoma) and at Lynden Golf Club (Puyallup)
Jerry returned to Boeing in the late 1970s and completed a 30-year career in Customer Services, Retiring in 2005.
Throughout their 57-year marriage, Jerry & Robyn enjoyed various activities with their many friends
Camping in tents and RVs around the Northwest enjoying river fishing.
Boating and salmon fishing around Commencement Bay, Ilwaco and Neah Bay, as well as local lakes.
After Retirement, in 2005, they (along with their two Yorkshire Terriers) traveled around the US in their motorhome - enjoying various states and activities.
They enjoyed local RV outings around the northwest with their friends in the Rainier Ramblers RV Club.
