Gloria Evedean (Keck) O'Dell
Left this earth on Sunday, May 30, 2021. Gloria was a resident of Bakersfield, California and previously lived in Boron, CA and Baxter Springs KS. Gloria was born in Ottawa County, OK to Stephen and Sarah Keck. After her parents moved to California with their remaining family, Gloria accepted his proposal and married Billy R. O'Dell. Billy had just arrived in California from Treece, KS. Mr. and Mrs. Billy O'Dell moved and settled in Boron, California where Gloria was a homemaker and Billy began work at Pacific Coast Borax. Gloria is preceded in death by both parents, her husband of 52 years Billy R. O'Dell, brother(s) Stephen Keck, Arthur Keck, Lytle Keck, sister(s) Mary King, Jo Crossland, Salley Geopfert; children – Tammy Skaggs, Timothy O'Dell, Melanie O'Dell; grandson Viktor Skaggs; she is survived by siblings: Betty (Keck) York Austin TX and Wynona Keck Yucipa CA; children: Gaye (Edward) Sailer, Cheryl (Luis) Acosta; grandchildren – Rachel (Daniel) Diamond, Reuben (Candice) Acosta, Philip Acosta, Melissa (David) Winsor, Andrew Skaggs; great grandchildren – Kayla Acosta, Jordan Acosta, Dylan Acosta; Gabriel Acosta, Alyssia Spikes; great great grandchildren Au Bree and Aneissa. Gloria also has many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. Gloria is a servant of our Lord Jesus and lived a quite but gentle loving life.
