Gloria Ruth Palacios

Gloria Ruth Hodson Palacios passed away peacefully in Loma Linda, CA on July 31, 2019 at the age of 93. Gloria Palacios is survived
by her grandchildren Jennifer Mann of Yakima, WA, Megan Kurzynske of Nashville, TN, and Corey Mann of Chattanooga, TN. She is preceded in death
by her husband Rudy Palacios, daughter Carol Mann and stepson Rudyline Palacios, sister Glenda Schram and brother Vernon Hodson.

Gloria Ruth Hodson was born on September 11, 1925 in Hinsdale, Illinois to Gertrude and Glenn Hodson. She graduated from Broadview Academy. Her only child Carol was born in 1957 in Janesville, Wisconsin. Later they both moved to southern California around 1960. In 1969, She married
the love of her life Rudy Palacios, they worked together at Rockwell International. She was dedicated to her family, church and community. She sang and shared the gift of music wherever she went. She was an avid supporter of Breast Cancer research and prevention,
being a breast cancer survivor herself. Among her many accomplishments she finished a 5K Race for the Cure at age 90 making it 26 years in a row she participated in the event.

A memorial service is scheduled for 3pm on September 14 at Linda Valley Villa in Loma Linda, California, with refreshments to follow. Pastor Nephtaly Valles will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Gloria Palacios' life. In lieu of flowers, please send
