Hallie Edwin Holland

Hallie Edwin Holland was born on March 24th 1963 to Pauline (Holland) Dunn, (Al Dunn) and Ray Holland (Connie Holland) in Portland Oregon. He has 5 siblings Simonetta (nita) Street, Chris Holland, Paul Holland, Juanita (nita) Shannon and Danny Hanford and one who has earned her wings Lisa Scudder. Along with multiple Aunts, Uncles and many Nieces and nephews. Hallie served in the US Army from 1981-1985. He loved the fact he was able to be stationed in Germany and would often talk to others about having served over there as well as Louisiana. Hallie lived a full life of ups and downs but none the less always tried to stay positive for his family. He meet his wife Lisa Napier in Sept. 2000 and they Married on June 24, 2001. They had an amazing 17 years together, he said the minute he meet her she was his Soulmate. She had two boys of her own Joseph Napier and Jacob Napier and he also continued to care for his three step kids Deena Nelson, Solona Griffin and Fabian Fernandez. He considers all to be his children as he had no biological ones himself. So this is where he earned the tittle of Papa to 18 Grandkids which he loved each and every one in his own way. He would often set all the babies in his lap and rock and sing Rocky Rocky Papa and the older ones he gave rides on his wheelchair. He fought many years of illness and would say it was for them and his family.
On August 23, 2018 the lord had other plans for him and he was to fight no more. He was to watch and protect his family free of pain and suffering and to be whole again. He will never be forgotten and will always be in our hearts. Instead of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice in his name. Services are yet to be determined.
