Harold Duane (Hal) Walls, 85, of Oro Valley, Arizona, died on March 27, 2023, of complications from Parkinson’s Disease. He made his transition peacefully, at home, with his wife Phyllis and other family members there to support him.
Harold was born on March 22, 1938, in McKees Rocks, PA. He graduated from Moon High School and went on to attend Penn State University. After serving as an officer in the Navy for four years, he earned his MBA at Carnegie Mellon University. He and his family resided in a variety of places in the U.S., and even in Germany, as he pursued his career as an executive of manufacturing companies.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold Duane Walls and Julia Walls (Ondis). He leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Phyllis Wrotny Walls, and four children, Jennifer Walls Gonce (Randy), Ramona Walls (John Weins), Harold Walls (Megumi Hamada), and Andrew Walls. Also his siblings, David Walls, Edward Walls (Diane), and Janice McCaslin (David). Harold also had six grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and good friends, whom he loved joyfully.
Harold’s family has been meditating, contemplating, and sharing memories of him; they invite you to do the same if you are so moved. Harold was a good and caring man.
