Carol Kent was all about family, friends and loved ones, making sure everybody had what they needed. Carol was an avid sports fan and could often be found playing 500 or throwing a football in the street with the children. Carol passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home in Forest Grove, Oregon. Carol was a strong woman who took pride in herself and wore many hats from field boss to beautician. Carol loved to get together with family and friends to play board games, construct puzzles, dance, and enjoy good food and music. Carol loved to sew starting with making her children’s clothes which graduated into her becoming an accomplished quilt maker.
Carol was preceded in death by her son Richard and two grandsons Matthew and Hobert Sargeant. Carol was also preceded in death by her siblings Clara, Margaret, Tom, May, Glenn, Myrtle, Austin, Irvin, and LiyLynnnnliylynnnn. Leaving only one surviving sibling Lemuel Rice of Tillamook, Oregon.
Carol is survived by her husband of 53 years, Henry Kent, and her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Daughter Roxan & husband Jack Giacomini of Forest Grove, Oregon; daughter Christine & husband Scott Turner of Hillsboro, Oregon; son Butch & wife Tammie Kent, grandsons Cody, Kasey and Christian Kent, of Newburg, Oregon; daughter Nita & husband Robert Garner, grandsons Dylan & Jacob, of Canyonville, Oregon; Grandson Thomas Wampler, and great-granddaughters Kaylee, Emily & Karlie of Forest Grove, Oregon; Grandson Blaan Sargeant of Cornelius, Oregon; granddaughter Brandy & husband Josh Faist and great-grandson Tristan Faist, of Oregon City, Oregon; Grandson Travis & wife Kelsey Turner, & great-grandsons Clayton & Barrett, of Forest Grove, Oregon; Grandson Bryan Turner & Sarah Governale, and great-granddaughter Harper Turner, of Aloha, Oregon; Grandson Shawn & wife Melissa Turner, great-granddaughter Charlotte & great-grandson Wyatt Turner, of Buckeye, Arizona; Granddaughter Morgan & husband Kevin Mondor great-granddaughters Tesla, Mackenzie and Kara, of Forest Gove, Oregon; Grandson Buck Squires, of Hillsboro, Oregon.
