Early Sunday morning, October 30th 2016, the Lord took Hilda Danowsky, to be with Him in her eternal resting place. She passed peacefully in her sleep. Hilda was blessed with a long rich life. She was able to celebrate her 100th birthday last November at the Claremont Manor surrounded by family and friends. She would have celebrated her 101st birthday on November 12th.

Hilda is survived by her 5 living children, 15 grandchildren and over 35 great grandchildren and one greatgrandchild. Family was always the most important thing in her life and she considered motherhood as the highest calling that God had given her.

After the death of her husband in September 2000, Hilda moved from Alexandria Minnesota, to Clarement Manor, Claremont California, where she spent her final years. Hilda was able to pursue her passion of writing, attending creative writing class and publishing a book of short stories, about her early days in North Dakota.
