Jackie Felts

Jackie Lee Felts, cherished Husband, Father, Grandfather and Friend, age 74, of Universal City, TX, passed away peacefully on October 26th, 2025. Born on April 30th, 1951, in Winston Salem, NC, Jackie lived a life overflowing with love, laughter, and deep devotion to his family.

Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Lillie Felts, his brother Willis Felts, and his sister Dixie Heath. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Carolyn Felts; his sisters, Mildred Smith (Mount Airy, NC) and Mary Jackson (King, NC); and his two sons, Bryan Felts (Magnolia, TX) and wife Christine, and Kevin Felts (Austin, TX) and wife Keeli. Jackie’s legacy lives on through his cherished grandchildren: Jordan Rutledge and wife Shanna, Zechariah Felts, Malachi Felts, Kyndal Felts, and Kaden Felts; and his great-grandchildren: Cody, Greyson, and Kolter. He is also lovingly remembered by countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends whose lives he touched deeply.

Jackie’s greatest joy was his family. He was endlessly proud of his sons, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, never missing a chance to share their stories with anyone he met. Jackie truly never met a stranger—his warmth, kindness, and easy conversation made everyone feel seen and valued. His laugh and smile were as big as he was, and you couldn’t help but be drawn to him.

Jackie had a passion for fishing and spending time by the water with family and friends. He loved sports and coached numerous kids in baseball and basketball, teaching them the values of hard work, integrity, and the many life lessons found through sports.

Jackie and Carolyn loved traveling to Palacios, TX, with their beloved dog, Candy, and visiting family every chance they could.

Jackie’s faith in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was the foundation of his life. His love, generosity, and spirit have left an indelible mark on all who knew him. While we mourn his loss, we rejoice knowing he is with his Savior, at peace and surrounded by eternal love.

Jackie, Dad, Pappi—you left a huge mark on this world and in our hearts. Your memory will be treasured, and your legacy will be carried on by all those who love you.
