Tim was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 18, 1954 and passed peacefully to Heaven on January 23, 2025. He was born the 4th of 5 children to Eldon Ray “Bud” Haynes Sr. and Allie May Connolly Haynes.
Tim was preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, parents, and older brothers Eldon Ray “Sonny” Haynes Jr. and Frank Haynes. Tim is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Mary Martine Haynes, children Eldon Ray Haynes (wife Katrina) and Terrilyn Molina (husband John) and 4 wonderful grandchildren, Tristan, Juan, Joziah, and Brooklyn. He is also survived by his sister, Myrtle Ann Ott (husband David), brother Paul Anthony Haynes (wife Susan) and sister-in-law, Katie Haynes. Tim also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and many family and friends.
Tim graduated from Richardson High School in Richardson, Texas and later attended Hallmark Institute where he received his A&P diploma in 1988. Soon after, he began his career with Petroleum Helicopter Institute. Tim and Mary built their home on “Buds Mountain” near Canyon Lake, Texas where they were blessed to raise their beautiful family. He was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church of Canyon Lake.
After retirement from PHI Tim was able to enjoy the hobbies he loved. Golf, fishing, and spending valuable time with his family and friends. But what Tim loved most, was being the best “Grampy” to his amazing grandchildren. He enjoyed following them to all of their sporting events where you could easily find him cheering them on from the bleachers.
Anyone that knew Tim knew nothing other than laughter. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and if you were fortunate enough to know him, consider yourself one of the lucky ones. Although he has completed his time here on Earth, his positive outlook on life will live on through his beloved family.
The family has asked, in lieu of flowers, for monetary donations to be sent to St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, please write Building Fund in the memo.
