James Francis KING

It is with great sadness that the family of James King of Federal Way, Washington announce his passing on Sunday, August 16, 2020 at the age of 68 after a long, hard fought battle with cancer.

James will be lovingly remembered by his partner of 31 years, Luanne Locks; children: Angela King Ricker (Gary) and Joel King (Nicole); grandchildren: Samuel, Elizabeth, Jayla, Jentry, Isabella and Lucas; as well as numerous relatives and friends.

James was proceeded by his parents Joseph & Mae King and his brother Robert King.

James was a loving partner, father and grandfather. His love carried over from his family to his many friends and to his beloved pets. His favorite activities were wood working and riding the dunes. He worked at Metro for 39 years and continued to provide support upon his retirement.

A celebration of life will be held at an undetermined time in the future due to the COVID-19.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kitty Rescue of Mason County, 420 SE State Route 3, Shelton, WA 98584 or to any no-kill animal shelter.
