Our dear brother James Donald Klingensmith was born January 25, 1954 and passed away June 19, 2023 peacefully in his home in Harlingen TX. He is a 1972 graduate of Kiski High School and enlisted in the Navy in 1974 where he served 20+ years for our country. He was a member of the Christian Fellowship Church in Harlingen TX, and was active in the Mens‘ Prayer group and Small Cell group. Jim was a volunteer in the Chaplains’ Office of Valley Baptist Hospital and worked for Smart Cremation since 2019 helping people preplan final arrangements. He had a great love for his family, friends, golf, traveling and fine food. He is survived by his wife of 12 years Lourdes McCormack Klingensmith of Harlingen TX, Mother Nancy Klingensmith of Apollo PA , a son Devon (Jill) Klingensmith and grand daughter Esme of Seminole FL. Grandsons Brandon (2 great grand daughters )and Justin Knehr of Virginia Beach VA, Step son David McCormack of Virginia Beach, VA a step daughter Dorothy (Anthony) Reese and grandchildren Olivia and Anthony of Virginia Beach VA, brothers William (Colleen) Klingensmith of West Leechburg PA , Jeffery (Tina) Klingensmith of Apollo PA, Dale Klingensmith of Apollo PA and sister Sandra (Anthony)Ravetto of Hyde Park PA, an uncle Charles Palmer of Apollo PA, 10 nieces and nephews and 18 great nieces and nephews. He was predeceasesd by his father James Klingensmith, brother Richard , daughter Amy Knehr and both paternal and maternal grand parents. His interment with funeral honors will be Wednesday July 5, 2023 at 10 am @ the National Cemetery of the Allegheny’s @ 1158 Morgan Rd. Bridgeville, PA 15017.
