Janet"Jackie" was born in Spokane Washington on April 25, 1940 to Owen and Gladys Jacklin.
She grew up in the Spokane Valley attending schools in the Central Valley School District for which she later worked as a teacher aide and assistant secretary.
After retirement she moved to a home on the Snake River near Central Ferry Washington. Spending time with her children and grandchildren was the joy of Jackie's life. Many family hours were spent camping, fishing, crabbing, clamming, hunting and mushrooming.
She was preceded in death by her father Owen Jacklin. She is survived by her mother Gladys Jacklin. Her husband Vern Rogers. Brother Terry Jacklin.
Children and their spouses Sue and Wes Yandt, Lynette and Denny Fox, Karl and Gena Rogers and Kathy and Rich Farley. Her grandchildren Trevor and Grace Robb, Rilee and Jake Fields, Kaelyn Yandt, Nathan Fox, Forrest and Ashley Rogers, Krystal Fox, Lincoln Rogers and Alexia Divelbiss. She is also survived by her 7 great grandchildren.
We would like to express our extreme gratitude to Sue Allen and her care team at Allen AFH for the kind and loving care of Jackie during this last year.
A celebration of life will be held during the summer of 2019.
