Janice Kay McClain

Janice Kay McClain was born in Michigan on June 12, 1944, to the late Stanley and Marjorie Kukulka. She lived a vibrant life, captivating her loved ones with her spirited willfulness. Janice loved singing soulful music, cooking, and, most of all, being with her family. In 1980, Janice and her family moved from New York to Yakima, Washington. She raised her children, adored her grandchildren, married her long-time love, and lived out the remainder of her life in Yakima. Janice leaves behind a family that loved her and will miss her dearly. A family consisting of her daughter, Angel Kukulka; her son Christopher Kukulka and his wife Marta; her late son's wife, Afiya Driskell; ten grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; her last living sister Sami Kukulka-Cornelius; her niece, to whom she loved as her daughter, Natasha Kukulka; and the whole Kukulka-Cornelius family. Janice Kay McClain passed away on September 17, 2021. She has gone to heaven, reuniting with many of her loved ones, including her mother, Marjorie; husband, Harvey; son, Kody; and sisters Nancy and Shirley. Janice's family loved her dearly. They will miss her laughter, the smells of her fantastic cooking, her boisterous singing, and most of all, her saying, "I love you, Baby."
