Janice Marie Cecilia Severance

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Janice Landry Severance on July 13, 2026 at the age of 70 after a courageous battle with cancer. She passed away peacefully at home in Fischer, TX.

Janice was born on February 8, 1956 in Moncton New Brunswick Canada to Alyre and Antionette Landry.

She is remembered for her outgoing, generous, magnetic personality. She never met a stranger and touched the lives of many through work, church, community interactions.

Janice is survived by her husband Scott Severance, children: Rachael (Tucker) Nyquist, Neal Severance, and Ryan (Laura) Severance, grandchildren: Morgan Severance, Ryker Severance, and McClaine Severance, sister: Lorainne Swenson, and puppies: Lucas and Lucy. She was preceded in death by Alyre Landry and Antionette Landry.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday August 29, 2026 at Home Church, Bulverde, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Wimberley Animal Group.

Though Janice is no longer with us, her love, tenacity, and legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
