Janice Louise Smith

Janice was born September 20th 1939 and passed away on August 21st 2017 With all of her family and brothers and sisters by her side. She was born in Plankinton SD. She was one of six children born to Peter and Mildred Zevenbergen. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Fred Smith of Tacoma WA, Her son Christopher Smith and his wife Polly Smith of Kenmore WA, and her three loving grandchildren Megan (Smith) Harmon and Husband Austin of Vancouver WA, Zachary Smith of Vancouver WA, and Mya Smith of Kenmore WA. She left this earth peacefully in the hands of God knowing that she would see her family again one day. Mom loved to bake cookies during the holidays and loved decorating her house. She enjoyed reading almost any book and spent 3 days a week attending Firstenberg Athletic center with her friends of many years. Mom loved the bible and I know that at the time of her passing she was with God. Her belief was what drove her in her last days. John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."

We will miss her and we love her dearly.
