Jeffrey was the son of the famous Art Director, Perry Ferguson. He grew up in the San Fernando Valley in California and lived there most of his life. Jeffrey spent some time going to college in Hawaii. He was in the Army and fought in Vietnam 1967-1968. He lived most of his last years in Burbank, CA and finally Meridian, Idaho with his step-daughter Shari. He is survived by his son Sean Ferguson + Sean's 3 daughters plus two step-daughters, Debbie Hudson and Shari Brown, plus 5 grandchildren from them. He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings: Perry, Sherry, and Mary Jayne; also his wife Judy.
Jeff spent his primary career as a Los Angeles City Firefighter. He was especially known for his beautiful singing voice and used it many times at memorial services for fallen firefighters. He was so loved and cherished both by his family and his Firefighter family.
Shari had the honor of caring for him in his years in Idaho and it was here that Jeff began volunteer work at Dominifarms. A non profit for retired or injured farm animals, birds, etc. Jeff LOVED animals so much and was a Lead Volunteer often managing the feeding and care of the animals. He played Santa each year for the kids in the community as they would visit the farm in winter.
Jeff was a believer in Jesus Christ and we all look forward to the day of resurrection when we will be united again.
