Joan A Schroth

Joan Schroth (nee Shaffer) died peacefully in Queen Creek, AZ on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at the age of 85. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Joan moved to Englewood, NJ, and Dumont, NJ, before moving to Arizona. Joan is survived by her children Arthur Germer and his wife Kim, Wanda Germer, Donna Mann and her husband Jeff Mann, and Lora Bolick and her husband Jason Bolick; grandchildren Brian Germer, Jessica Albright, Michael Feuerstack, Jenette Feuerstack, Ashley Germer, Thomas Schatza, and Andrew Mann; several great-grandchildren; and siblings Thomas Shaffer, Ruth Schmidt and Mildred Newhouse.
Joan is preceded in death by her parents William and Mildred Shaffer, sister Theresa and brother William "Bill" Jr.
A memorial service will be planned at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Joan's honor to the following organizations:
