John was born in Portland, Oregon on April 25th, 1950, to Rosemarie J Weber and Francis E Miller. He passed in Portland, Oregon on February 7th, 2024.
John graduated from Tigard High School in 1968. Shortly after graduation he enlisted with the Marines and served 6 years in the Corp which included 3 tours in Viet Nam. He was honorably discharged in 1974.
He wed Patricia J Smith on February 1st, 1974, and was married for fifty years.
He was survived by Patricia J Miller (Wife), Frank Miller (Brother), Andy Miller (Brother) Marc Miller (Brother, Kathryn A Flanigan (SIL), Sue Miller (SIL), Donald A Flanigan (Nephew), Jason Miller (Nephew), Brian Miller (Nephew), Sam Miller (Nephew) Debra A Zeivel (Niece), Carrie Smith (Niece).
Services were held at Willamette National Cemetery on March 26, 2024
