John Frederick McAnulty: November 26, 1936, to December 28, 2021.  John was the son of 
Margaret Burgess McAnulty and Keith Whitehouse McAnulty of Lynnwood WA; brother to Carolyn Hurley; uncle 
to Carolyn's son, Curtis Robb; husband to Katherine Jo Kendall and father to their son, Robert S. 
McAnulty; grandfather to Seamus and Jack McAnulty whose parents are Robert McAnulty and 
Suzanne Sweek.  John is also survived by great niece Sara Bredstrand and her son Akiele; 
great niece Jessica Bredstrand; great nephew Kyle Robb; great niece Kelsey Robb and her 
children, great great niece Kaylie and great great nephew Adrian.  Loved and admired by all, John was talented and big hearted. His life was full.  
Athletics: A star athlete in football, baseball, and crew; as an adult, became an umpire and referee, as well as a volunteer coach. 
Education: University of Washington, B.S. in Ceramic Engineering, Employment: manufact-
uring management in the electronics and asphalt roofing industries; a learning specialist that 
tutored students and adults with learning disabilities, plus, private tutoring in high school math and science. Military: 4 year Navy/college scholarship; Submarine School and active service in Hawaii; 5 years active duty and 21 years reserve duty, retired captain (06). Self-employed photographer, including the production and presentation of multimedia slideshows for schools, environmental groups and private instruction in photographic techniques and composition. An Eagle Scout, John was a man of many talents and interests, including: white water rafting, climbing, camping, cross-country skiing, music, gardening, cooking, remodeling his homes, reading, composing poetry, collecting poetry books; traveling and photography.  John was a member of Phi Delta Theta, Mazamas, Unity of Beaverton, Satori, Men Singing for Peace, and represented commercially by Corbis Photography Stock Agency.  His gifted nature and wildlife photography and fine art prints can be seen in galleries, books, homes, churches, magazines and offices.
