Jose Luis Garcia

Jose Luis Garcia, age 75 went to be in the arms of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 7, 2023 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Brownsville, Texas on February 11, 1948 to Rogelio and Manuela (Flores) Garcia. On August 10, 1968 he married Cecilia (Cortez) Garcia.

Jose left behind his wife Cecilia Garcia, his two son's and two daughter's; Jose Luis Garcia Jr, Adan Garcia, Melissa Vallejo and Selina Delarosa; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Jose was a God-fearing man, he loved the Lord with all his heart! So much so, that the Lord called him His walking bible. Jose loved horses, taking pictures of scenery, and bird watching. He was a man with a heart running after God. He preached and ministered everywhere he went. He was loved by all. We love this man and we thank the Lord for giving him a kind and generous heart. He truly will forever be missed. And the work he did for the Lord here on earth will never be forgotten. For the seeds he planted will be carried on from generation to generation to come. And his seed from Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob will continue to serve our Lord Jesus Christ in Jesus name, Amen.

On Thursday, September 14, 2023 at 7 PM a Memorial service will be held for Jose Luis Garcia to celebrate his life with family and friends. The Memorial service location is 25674 Lewis Lane Harlingen, Texas 78552 at Spirit of Praise Church.
