Jose Antonio Rivera

Jose A. Rivera was a resident of Gardena, CA for 76 years. He attended The Spanish American Institute (S.A.I.), Gardena Elementary and Gardena High School. He graduated from Manuel Arts High School in 1953. Jose served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.
He married Virginia Almaraz in 1960 at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Jose worked for the City of Gardena and retired as a Bussiness Lisence Inspector.
He is survived by his wife Virginia of 56 years and his two children Joe and Deanna (Mark) and his 7 grandchildren: Jessica, Danielle (Scott), Vanessa, Eric, Julia, Olivia and Steven.
