Joe’s parents were Bert and Betty Booth of Walworth, Wisconsin.  He had an older brother, Randy,

and a younger sister, Mary Ellen.  The family lived in the town of Fontana, nearby Lake Geneva.  Joe

college at Northern IL University, DeKalb, Illinois.

Joe worked for several hotels:  The Abbey in Fontana, WI; the Sheraton-O’hare; and The Conrad Hilton in

Chicago.  He later went into the packaging industry, selling corrugated containers throughout many

states.  He also enjoyed selling cars.  Joe’s last employment was in Phoenix, AZ as a driver for

Cardinal Health.  He loved his job and met a lot of co-workers who became dear friends.

Joe married Joyce Hansen in 1967.  The is survived by Joyce and their two daughters, Kristin

(Politsch)and Whitney (DeGroot); ten grandchildren; and his sister, Mary Ellen.  Joe loved his grand-

children and loved to take them swimming and bowling.

Besides his love for the water, Joe was an avid cook.  He was always trying out new recipes.  He also

Enjoyed watching Nascar racing, and was a loyal Green Bay Packers fan.
