Juan Angel Meneses, 65, passed away on September 20, 2021 at his residence, after battling heart-related complications. A resident of Carlsbad, California for more than three decades, Juan was a beloved respiratory therapist, a career to which he dedicated his life. Born on September 7, 1956, Juan emigrated from Mexicali, Mexico at a young age. He graduated from high school in San Bernardino and earned his associate degree in respiratory therapy from San Bernardino Valley College. He received continued education in the field over his 30+ year career. Juan was a proud Corvette owner and longstanding member of The Corvette Club of America. He attended myriad car shows, and even entered his own Corvette to show. Of retirement age at the time of his passing, Juan was preparing to travel the world, relocate to a new retirement community, and spend time with his family. He is survived by his son Brandon Robert Meneses, daughter-in-law Kristina and granddaughter Karrah; and his eldest siblings, Gilbert, Gustavo, Javier and Ana. He was preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Lorenza Meneses. Juan will be sorely missed by his family and friends. A memorial service and celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
