Kathleen Ann Adams

Kathleen Ann Adams (McCallum), of Lake Worth, Florida, and a proud native of Charlton, Massachusetts, passed away unexpectedly on September 17 in Oakland Park, Florida. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, to James C. McCallum and Nancy A Meskus on December 10, 1966, Kathy was known for her childlike spirit and her dedication to caring for others.

Throughout her life, Kathleen held numerous caregiving positions, always driven by her passion for helping those in need. Her most cherished role involved working with felines at a local rescue, where she found immense joy in the companionship of these loving animals. Her nurturing soul extended beyond her profession; she had a unique ability to connect with everyone she met, brightening their lives with her radiant smile and kind words.

Kathleen was preceded in death by her Parents and Grandparents, who played a complex role in her life, and she was especially heartbroken by the loss of her beloved nephew, Donald M. Williams, three years ago. His absence left a void in her heart that she carried inwardly. Believing he escorted her to her spiritual destination provides great comfort to her family.

She is survived by her loving sons, Douglas Adams and his wife, Christina, and Richard Adams. Her two amazing grandsons, Gunner and Talon Adams, they were her everything, bringing her boundless joy and laughter that brightened her days. Kathleen also leaves behind her three devoted sisters: Lisa Fuller and her husband Richard, Denise Lalashius and her husband Chris, and LeeAnn Berkeley and her husband Denny. Stepfather Roger Meskus and his wife Kathy. In addition, she is remembered by numerous loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends who will carry her spirit in their hearts.

The Family would like to recognize two very important people she also leaves behind. Her loyal companion, Michael Murtagh, he stood by her side through it all, offering unwavering support and love as they navigated life's ups and downs together. Kathy also leaves behind John St. Martin, a treasured friend. John's role in her life brought her purpose, and her connection to both of these men will be cherished forever.

Kathleen had a strong faith in God and rededicated her life to Jesus Christ last summer. She was baptized in the name of her Lord and Saviour. Her faith never wavered even during difficult times.

Kathleen faced life’s many challenges with courage and hope, inspiring those around her to do the same.

Please join us for a celebration of Kathleen's life, which will be held at Faith Church in Auburn, Massachusetts, on October 10th. A gathering for remembrance, coffee and pastries at 4pm followed by a Celebration of Life at 5:30pm. We invite all who knew her to share their memories and stories, reflecting the joy and love she brought into our lives.

Kathleen's remains will be laid to rest alongside her beloved mother, Nancy Meskus, at a date to be determined by the family. The two will be reunited at Northside Cemetery, located on Cemetery Road in Charlton, Massachusetts. May her memory be a source of comfort and inspiration to us all.
