Keith Eugene Gunn

Keith Eugene Gunn, 88, of Lake Hallie, Chippewa Falls, was peacefully called to his eternal heavenly home on March 18, 2025, at his adult family home in Spokane, Washington, where he resided since August 2023.

Keith was born to Melvin and Marguerite (Metcalf) Gunn on July 30, 1936 in Bruce, Wisconsin. He was married to Joan A (Glenna) Gunn for 60 years and pastored Zion Christian Fellowship in Lake Hallie over 40 years. He had been a father to many, selflessly loving and caring for those in need. He loved to play the guitar and minister the Gospel through song. His love of the Word of God was shamelessly sewn into every conversation. He taught his children and grandchildren how to hunt and enjoyed spending time with his family. He was not only an avid fisherman, but truly a fisher of men.

Keith is survived by daughters, Shelly (Keith) Wilson of Spokane, WA, and Kandi (Pablo) Marticorena of Lake Hallie; sons, Dalen (Mary) Gunn of Coeur d’Alene, ID, Steve (Terri) Britten of Seattle, WA, Jeff Britten of Eau Claire, Charles Britten of Spokane, WA, daughter, Tammy (Mike) Drechsler of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Elisha, Elijah, Dalen Jr, Lyndsey, Camille, Angel, Brittany, Chelsey, Dominic, Elias, Felicity, Joni, Justin, Hollie, Jacob, Michael, Brooke, Adam, and Emme; 33 great-grandchildren; sister, Beverly Janota; and brothers, Clayton, Rodney (JoAnne), and Lowell ‘Joe’ (Maggie).

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Joan; son, Brian Gunn; and sister, Wadena Maddox.

The Celebration of Life will be at 1:00pm on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at Zion Christian Fellowship Church, 11555 35th Avenue, Chippewa Falls. He will be laid to rest at Brunswick Cemetery, Town of Brunswick, Eau Claire County.
