For over a decade, Kel was the property manager at Sunset Palms and Pine Ave Apartments. He was well known as a compassionate manager and thoroughly enjoyed helping and interacting with the residents. His lifelong interest in food remained with him throughout his life as evident in a previous career in restaurant management with the Red Robin and Peppermill restaurants throughout California and Nevada. His devoted interest with the car industry lead him to a long career in automotive sales.

Kel was a very social being and immensely enjoyed traveling for entertainment and visiting friends and family. He was a friend in every kind of group and loved to host gatherings. As he welcomed each niece and nephew into the Boyer family, he enjoyed getting to spend time together. He lavished the dogs throughout his life with love, care, and comfort, including his fur baby Chihuahua, Cooper.

The family and Michael wish to Thank the physicians and staff of Loma Linda University Medical Center, ICU, Main and East campuses .The compassion and care Kel and the family members received was exemplary and extraordinary. A heartfelt thank you goes to the lead Doctors and Nurse practitioners, and the many physical and respiratory therapists who cared for him.
