Kenneth BURROWS

Ken was born on February 7, 1949 in Cottage Grove, Oregon, and passed away peacefully on September 7, 2018 in his home with family surrounding him. Ken was a resident of Lake Elsinore, CA. for the past 18 months. He and his wife, Patty moved from Seattle to California to be close to their children and grand children. Ken graduated from Oregon State University in 1971 with a degree in Business Administration. He married Patty in June of 1971. They had two children Michael and Sherri. Through his working years Ken co-owned Seattle Athletic and Exercise with stores in Seattle, Tacoma and Bellevue. After he closed the stores he worked as an accountant for a film company and for Lighthouse Diving where he retired in January of 2017. Ken and Patty attended Tabernacle Baptist Church in Seattle where he served as a deacon, church treasurer, and Awana Commander. Upon their move they began attending Mountain View Church. Ken was diagnosed with Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis in January of 2017. He is survived by his wife Patty, his son Michael (Kirstin) and granddaughter Hannah, his daughter Sherri (Kevin) and granddaughters Casey (Jordan) and Courtney (Dylan) and great grand daughters Kyliee, Addilyn and Aubrie. Any memorial gifts can be given to Camp Gilead in Carnation, Washington. (campgilead.org) We are missing him greatly but we are thankful he is now with his Savior who he loved and served enjoying the wonders of heaven.
