Kenneth Clark Cobern was born April 15,
1957 in Dallas, Texas to James Clark "Buddy"
Cobern and Evelyn Campbell. Ken passed
away August 19, 2026 at the age of 69 in his
home in Canton, Texas with his devoted wife,
Tanna, and adoring pups by his side.
Ken was an avid fisherman and teller of tall
tales (as any good fisherman is). He spent
many hours in Poppy's Fishing Shack
woodburning and listening to Rock n Roll. He
loved to hang out with his grand boys and
puppies and watch his spunky tortoise, Zo.
He has been reunited in Heaven with his
parents, Buddy and Evelyn Cobern, sister Kay
Shutter, and brother Jimmy Cobern. He is
survived by his wife of 34 years, Tanna
Cobern, his daughters Page and husband
Kyle Bryant, and Cassity and husband Calvin
Wilkes, and grandsons Wyatt and Gunner
Bryant and Koda and Lynx Wilkes. He leaves
behind loyal guard dogs Pippin, Sammy,
Rosie, Gus Gus, and Lottie to look after his
family.
His celebration of life will be September 26th,
2026 at 11 at his home in Canton. Dress
casual and wear your favorite band or fishing
shirt. Please call Page Bryant with any
questions at 903-474-7576
