Another survivor of the Great Depression, WW II, and Korean war has passed.
Youngest son of John Joseph Zipp Sr. and Bertha Othilla Schilling's 9 children. He attended St Georges Grade School
and Cleveland High. A fixture in the Burien area, he will be missed. His exploits as a Submariner in WWII provided him
with many colorful stories. Survived by his wife Virginia, 2 step children, Gary LaMotte, Linda LaMotte, 7 children,
Dan, Kathy, Karl, Pat, Bill, Kristi, Ed, 9 grandchildren, 6 great- grandchildren, and cat Mr. Blue.
Services will be arranged through Tahoma Veterans Cemetery
