Lillie Mae Mitchell

Born Lillie Mae Street on January 30, 1931 in Hermosa Beach, Calif. She left us to be with the Lord, June 20, 2012. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Ted. Sister, Thelma Jean. Three children...Steve, Donna and Linda. 5 grand children...Peter, Lee, Stacey, Lauren and Tom. 5 great grand children...Reznor, Merianne, Timmy, Mickey and Macie. Lillie was raised in the Los Angeles area and attended Manual Arts High School where she was an accomplished diver. It was also where she met Ted. She raised her family in Torrance, CA and retired to Palm Desert, CA. She was a housewife and mother as well as a waitress for many years. She loved reading, sports (football), and sunbathing by the pool. She loved being around her grandchildren especially when they visited Palm Desert. She and Ted enjoyed traveling to Hawaii, Greece and many of the states in the U.S. She was loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Matthew 25:21 " Well done, good and faithful servant."
