Linda Conti Gould, born on September 1, 1954, in Rockford, Illinois, passed away on September 29, 2025, leaving a legacy of compassion and dedication to her community. She was the beloved daughter of Louis and Mary Margaret Conti.

Throughout her life, Linda dedicated herself to serving others professionally. She spent 31 years as an Assistant to the Director of Northern Illinois for the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, where her commitment to the welfare of children and families was evident in all that she did.

On November 29, 1996, Linda celebrated her marriage to William Jay Gould Jr., forging a partnership that brought joy and love into her life.

The family of Linda Conti Gould extends their sincere gratitude to the doctors and nurses of Hope Hospice, whose care and devotion made her final days more comfortable. They also thank Dr. Brown from radiation therapy for his dedication, as well as Monsignor Richard and Father Ricky from St. Katherine Drexal for their spiritual support during her illness.

A Rosary and Mass in her honor will be held at St. Katherine Drexal Catholic Church, located at 1922 Southwest 20th Avenue, Cape Coral, FL, on November 13, 2025, starting at 10:30 AM, with a lucheon in the Church Hall following mass.

Linda asked In Lieu of flowers, for donations to be made to Corpus Christi Monastery of the Poor Clares 2111 S Main St, Rockford, IL 61102.

Linda Conti Gould will be remembered not only for her professional accomplishments but also for the love and kindness she shared with those around her. She leaves behind a lasting legacy of compassion, resilience, and family devotion.
