Linda Lee Wilson

Linda Wilson, 78, passed away on June 18th, 2026 at her home in Puyallup. Linda was born in South Seattle (Duwamish), WA to Floyd and Loretta Rex, the first of 3 children. She was a 1966 graduate from Foster High School in Riverton, WA.

Linda worked for First Interstate bank, which then became Wells Fargo, as a Collateral Loan Officer and retired from the bank after 25 years. One of her many favorite things to do was work in her garden and tend to her flowers. Many strangers that would walk by the house to go enjoy the Washington State Fair (Puyallup Fair) would comment on how beautiful her front yard was with all the flowers and hanging baskets. She truly was the green thumb in the family.

Linda was definitely a fighter because she battled breast cancer over 25 yrs ago, a stroke on 3 yrs ago but cancer came back in Feb 2025, and she fought the good fight, but she was tired and was ready to end the fight. Linda was preceded in death by her father, Floyd, mother, Loretta, and younger brother Tommie David. She is survived by her husband of 59 ½ yrs, Gary, two adult children and SIL, Bridgett (Dion) Kennedy and James. She also has 6 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren and many friends and family.

There will be a Celebration of Life around the beginning of May 2027. Donations to St Jude or any Cancer Research of your choice, in Linda’s honor, in lieu of flowers, is greatly appreciated.
