Louise Rusty Bester

On September 24, 2020, at age 74 Louise Eileen "Rusty" Bester of Escondido peacefully entered eternal life. She is greatly missed by her family.

She was born to Dorothy Louise Miller Bester and Louis Charles Bester on February 11, 1946, in Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Logan High School and attended Ohio University. After college, she served two years as a volunteer with AmeriCorps Vista. She pursued photography with CPI Corporation and Trader Publications. Rusty had a lifelong faith in God and was a member of the Community Lutheran Church.

Rusty met her husband Robert A. Miller in San Diego and they were married on May 11, 2002. She is survived by Robert, the step-daughters Karen Miller, and Carolyn Miller, and step-granddaughter Catherine Miller. Rusty is also survived by sister Dolores "Dody" Imhoff, nephews Paul Imhoff and David {wife Claudia} Imhoff, and great-niece Jessica Imhoff

The family would like to thank LightBridge Hospice for the care and compassion they showed in taking care of Rusty.

A memorial service will be delayed due to the pandemic restrictions. Memorials may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
