LUCY ANN METCALF

Lucy Ann Metcalf, born November 2, 1949, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 25, 2024. Lucy is survived by her loving husband Charles who was by her side for 49+ years and especially during the last two months as she battled pneumonia. She is also survived by her son Charlie Mike (Kerri) and her daughter Brandy (Paul). Lucy loved and adored her 4 grandchildren (Logan, Emma, Cooper, and Grayson). She was a Christ follower and a faithful member of Grace Bible Church and Bible Study Fellowship. Lucy also participated in Bingo, Travel Clubs, Antique and Doll Clubs, and founded the Teddy Bear Club of the Palm Beaches.

Charles and Lucy celebrated 47 years of marriage this past January. They were able to celebrate the simple things in life, and also traveled to special places across the globe (London, Paris, Hawaii, Panama, and Alaska). They even visited all of Theodore Roosevelt's homes (Manhattan, Oyster Bay, and the Dakota Territory). Throughout her life Lucy's primary vocation was homemaker, but she also had part time jobs (coding for a chiropractor, bookkeeping for a pool store, and working at Hallmark). She founded her own small business, Lucy's Bear-eed Treasure. Overall, she was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Grace Bible Church (3181 Kirk Road, Palm Springs, FL) on Saturday June 29th at 11:00am with Pastor Jeff Orcutt officiating.

“In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Grace Bible Church.”
