Margie Virginia Jeffery

Margie Virginia Jeffery was born April 23, 1926 in Fort Woth, Texas to Robert and Lula Cox. Margie a former Lake San Marcos California resident, peacefully passed away on July 5, 2017 in Huntington Beach, California. She was 91.

In 1945, she moved to Southern California. While working as a dental assistant, she met her husband Edward James Jeffery. They were married October 1953 and celebrated 50 years of love and friendship. Margie and her Jim raised three children in the San Fernando Valley and retired to Lake San Marcos in 1983.

Margie was known as a loving and caring mother that brought joy to all of those who knew her. She led a blessed life and possessed a wonderful smile that she shared with everyone. Margie also spent many hours donating her time to the Sister Winifred Auxiliary at St. Anne's Maternity Hospital in Los Angeles. She also served as President of the auxiliary numerous times.

Margie is survived by her sons, Robert and John, step-son Edward; and her grandchildren Courtney Saunders, Edward "Ted", Jennifer, Dylan, Ryan, Daryl, Griffin, and Smith. Nine great grandchildren; K.C., Mary Jo, and Thomas Saunders; Edward, Hayden, Hunter, Ethan, Jonny and Julie Jeffery
