Marian Knisely, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, in Las Vegas, NV. Born on March 3, 1943, in Buffalo, NY, Marian was known for her kind and welcoming nature, and her infectious laughter brought joy to all who knew her.
Throughout her life, Marian found joy in the simple pleasures, often indulging in her passion for jigsaw puzzles. This hobby not only provided her with a source of relaxation, but it also reflected her appreciation for detail and her ability to bring pieces together, much like she did with her family and friends.
Marian is survived by her devoted husband, Max Knisely, and her loving children, Kristen Kenneday and her husband, Bill, Kevin Knisely and his wife, Gemie, and Heather Avery along with her husband, Carlas. She took great pride in her role as a grandmother to her grandchildren: Ellie Bourne, David Bourne, Grant Knisely, Grace Knisely, and Tyler Avery, each of whom was a cherished part of her life.
In addition to her immediate family, Marian is mourned by her dear sister, Sharon Moranski, who shared countless memories and laughs with her throughout their lives.
Marian joins her predeceased family members, including her parents, George Mindish and Marian Mindish, as well as her brother, George Mindish. Each of these individuals played a significant part in shaping the remarkable woman she became.
Her legacy of kindness, warmth, and love will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched. Marian Knisely will be remembered not just for the life she lived, but for the love she shared with her family and friends.
