Marilyn "Charlie" Sanders

On the morning of December 22, 2016 Marilyn "Charlie" Sanders, our beloved Mother and Nana, joined the angels. Born May 3, 1939 in Queens, New York, Charlie moved to California in 1981 and had lived in Sunnyvale, California for over 30 years. A former certified nursing assistant, Charlie greatly enjoyed working with geriatric patients helping comfort them in the golden years. Her unexpected passing has left a huge hole in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Charlie joins son Michael Golder, husbands Robert Golder and Bill Sanders, brothers Joey, Jimmy, and Thomas Hagerman, and parents Charlotte and Joseph Hagerman in heaven. She is survived by daughters Michele Golder and Debra Ann Carter (Todd), grandchildren Morgan Golder, Khris Golder, Sean Carter, Vanessa Carter, and Nick Martinez, brother Michael Hagerman, brother-in-law Billy Golder (Sandy), and many nieces and nephews. A private celebration of life will be held on February 25, 2017.
