Marjorie Evelyn Lanthier

Marjorie Evelyn Lanthier died on September 3rd 2025 at the age of 87. She is survived by her daughters, Sue and Sandra, three grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren as well as her late husband Jack Lanthier's seven children, thirteen grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.

Marge was born in Fair Haven, Vermont on November 3, 1938. She attended Fair Haven High, Elon College, and Pacific University where she majored in Journalism. She enjoyed two happy marriages, first to Herb Berreth in 1960 and then to Jack Lanthier in 1995.

Marge traveled extensively throughout her life with Greece, Japan, and Africa being her favorite destinations. She was incredibly active in her community, volunteering with her local library and local PEO chapter, and donating to many charities. One of her favorite hobbies was Nantucket basket weaving, with many of her baskets decorating the homes of her loved ones.

Marjorie will be missed by many here, but is surely being welcomed to Heaven by her loved ones who departed before her.
