Born Marjory Helen McCarter on September 14, 1946. The first daughter of Lloyd & Mary McCarter. Preceded by her parents Lloyd & Mary McCarter, her brother Tommy and sister Iris. Survived by her sisters, Mary Catherine Young of Florida, and Patricia Repici of New Jersey. Survived by her brothers Michael McCarter of North Carolina, Bill McCarter of Virginia and Rick McCarter of Colorado. Survived by her children John Evans of Sacramento, CA, Paul Evans of Owensboro, KY, Liane Blackburn of Wellington, NV and Kerri Flook of Sacramento, CA. Stepchildren Jennifer Dossman-Pierre of Lancaster, CA, Nicole Shelton of Las Vegas, NV and Jeffrey Sherman of Sacramento, CA. Marjory was blessed with 19 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Survived by her husband and soulmate Russell Sherman married on April 26th 1997. Marjory will be interred at the Veterans Cemetery in Dixon, CA in a private family ceremony. There will be a memorial service at 1:00pm on Saturday November 19th at River City Calvary Chapel 7322 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95826.
