Mark Weston Seibel, 70, Casa Grande, Arizona, formerly from Voltaire, North Dakota, died on April 19, 2025, in Chandler Regional Medical Center. Mark Seibel was born on October 11, 1954, in Minot, North Dakota, son to Wilbert and Martha (Aaseth) Seibel.  He was raised and educated in Velva, North Dakota. He graduated from Velva High School in 1972.  He attended North Dakota State School of Science in 1972-73. 

He worked for Ed Seibel & Sons out of Ross, ND. On June 1, 1974, he married his high school sweetheart, Pamela Telehey. They lived in Velva, ND for several years, before moving to Voltaire, ND where they made their home and raised their children.  Mark owned and operated the Velva Sand and Gravel for many years. He after worked for Velva Ready Mix. In 1989 he and his family moved to Escondido, California where he worked a payloader job. This was considered to be a 15-month vacation from North Dakota cold. They returned to Voltaire, ND in 1990. Mark then began his M&P Furniture Stripping and Refinishing business in Voltaire, ND. His father, Wilbert Seibel, worked along with him at times.  Mark also helped farm the family farm just south of Velva, ND until Wilbert retired from farming. Mark then became employed by Minot Farmers Elevator, currently Dakota Midland Grain, in Voltaire, ND.  He retired from Dakota Midland Grain in July 2018.

After retiring, Mark and Pamela moved to Casa Grande, Arizona.  Here he enjoyed caring for citrus trees in his back yard. This move was made primarily for his COPD health issues.

Mark is survived by his wife of 50 years, Pamela Seibel, Casa Grande, AZ, sons Patrick Seibel, Jamestown, ND and Joseph Seibel, Minot, ND; grandson Adam Seibel, Wishek, ND and granddaughter Bailey Doty (Rowdy), Minot, ND; sister Wanda Fogarty (Bob), Minot, ND and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mark was preceded in death by daughter Rebecca Vickers and his parents Wilbert and Martha Seibel.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life for Mark Seibel will be held at a later date, unknown at this time.
