Dick Marshall as he liked to go by, entered into his home above on February 9th after a short illness. Dick grew up on a farm in Venice Center, NY. In 1962, when Dick was 20, he enlisted in the Air Force. He spent the next 20 years at different duty stations around the world. Dick retired from the military in 1982 with a rank of Master Sergeant and settled in Arizona. The last 20 years living in Avondale, AZ. He had different jobs including working at Palo Verde nuclear station, Honeywell, apartment maintenance. He retired from sales in 2008. He spent time doing wood working projects and spending time with grandchildren.

He was preceded in his heavenly home by beloved grandson Dominic Solomon and daughter Jenn Solomon.

Dick's family includes his wife, Jan, sons Mike (Colleen), Sean (Lisa), daughter Teresa (Paul) Defreitas, son-in-law Randy (Jenn) Solomon,. grandchildren::Dominic Solomon, Chris Marshall, Emily-Brooke Solomon, Anthony Defreitas and Aaron Defreitas. Dick's brother Ted, still lives in Venice Center, NY along with nieces and nephews in different states and a godson in AZ
A graveside memorial service is planned for Friday, February 4th at 11 AM. Even though this is a short outside graveside service, the lingering threat from Covid and variants is still a serious concern. Your thoughts that morning, are greatly appreciated.
