Michael Ray Doyle

Michael Ray Doyle was born on October 14, 1952 and passed away on August 11, 2020, in Concord, CA
He was the son of Ray and Lucy Doyle and born in Mangum, Oklahoma. Sister, Christi Bell and brother in law, Geoffrey, whom he adored.
Mike was a wonderful son, brother, cousin, nephew and friend. He will be missed by everyone.
Mike attended special schools from age 3 to 21 and then attended the Workshop from age 21-65. Lucy helped with establishing the workshop in Pittsburg where Mike attended. Mike retired from the workshop and went to George Miller-East until March 2020. Ray and Lucy had a great deal to with the founding of George Miller-East, for which I am grateful.
Mike participated in the Special Olympics playing; basketball, soccer, track and field and his favorite of all was bowling. He loved getting his trophy and showing everyone. He loved going on vacation to Oklahoma every year to see his grandparents, cousins and aunts and uncles.
Mike lived in a group home with five other adults including his best friend, Frank. He was very happy living there. Mike had wonder caregivers, Mary and Crystyna which he loved very much.
Mike had a wonderful life and brought joy to everyone he met. He had a smile that went on forever and a lovable giggle. He was the best brother I could've had. I will miss him so much.
