Olivia Dunnick

Olivia Leticia Dunnick (Soto), age 82, of Sun City West, Arizona, passed away on June 20, 2024. Services will be later this year, details forthcoming. Olivia was born in Calexico, California on May 23, 1942. She graduated with degrees from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, Mexico, Loyola Marymount University and Pepperdine University. 

Olivia married Everett Dunnick on December 10, 1966 at the Little Brown Church in Studio City and they remained together until her passing (57 years). 

Olivia was a lifelong educator serving the children of Hawthorne, California, for 23 years. An avid reader, Olivia worked tirelessly as a teacher, literacy coordinator and mother improving the reading skills of countless youth. Olivia also enjoyed quilting and spending time with her family.

Olivia is survived by her husband Everett, sons Everett, Alejandro, Eric and Francis, grandchildren Claudia, Cormac, Isaac, Olivia, Alexandra, Jennifer, Ignacio and Reed.
