OJ died April 3, 2016 in San Diego, California. He was born August 29, 1922 in Iloilo City, Philippines. He served in the United States Army Forces in the Far East (USAFFE) in World War II as a Corporal. He is survived by his beloved wife Thelma Jereza; his sister, Melly Jereza, 9 children, 23 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Church of the Resurrection in Escondido, CA. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Humane Society (www.humanesociety.org).
