Pat Warfield

Pat passed away peacefully at home on November 2, 2017, surrounded by the love of her family and friends. She was a truly loving, caring, curious, strong woman. She was deeply loved, and will be deeply missed.

Pat is survived by her four children: Bill (spouse Claudia), Chris, Pack (spouse Susan), and Kit (spouse Nancy.). She is also survived by her seven granddaughters and their families: Kaycee Fraizer (spouse Paul and daughter Lotus), Holle Sichelstiel (spouse Chad and children Sawyor, Jackson, and Alice), Hannah Mullen (spouse Chase), Teresa Clovicko (partner Jason Metzler), Naomi Warfield, Sheryl Warfield, and Melanie Agler (spouse Ryan and sons Riley and Graidy). Pat is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, in-laws, and many, many dear friends.

Pat was born in Wyoming, and lived her early days around the Western and Midwestern US. She graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1948, with a degree in psychology.

On June 30, 1948, Pat married Bill Warfield. For the next 55 years or so, she and Bill raised their family on their ranch in Paradise Valley, Montana. Upon retirement from the ranch, Pat and Bill moved to Bozeman, Montana. Pat continued to live in Bozeman after Bill's death in 2007, until she moved to Seattle in 2012. She resided at University House in Seattle's Wallingford neighborhood.

Pat was a passionately fierce Bridge player, a voracious reader, and was devoted to the Denver Broncos, and her beloved University of Minnesota Golden Gophers. While living in Bozeman, she volunteered with Rocky Mountain Hospice. A lifelong Episcopalian, Pat firmly believed in the importance of respect for all people, no matter what their beliefs.

Celebration of Life arrangements and detailed obituary to follow.
