Patrick Finnegan passed away on December 16, 2025, in Peoria, Arizona, at the age of 81. Born in 1944, in Portsmouth, England, Patrick emigrated to Arizona in 1976, where he built a life rooted in family, community, and hard work.
Soon after settling in Scottsdale, Patrick established his own plumbing business, Pat’s Plumbing Service. Through dedication and skill, he successfully operated the company until his retirement in 2006. His entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to quality service earned him the respect of many throughout the area.
Patrick led an active and engaged life beyond his professional endeavors. A passionate soccer enthusiast, he played the sport himself and went on to coach teams for the Arcadia Soccer Club as well as Scottsdale's Saguaro High School. Under his guidance, the high school team enjoyed four highly successful seasons—a testament to his leadership and love for the game.
In addition to soccer, Patrick found joy on the golf course. He was a proud member of Westbrook Village Golf Club, where he spent many enjoyable hours with friends and fellow golfers.
Patrick will be deeply missed by his wife Barbara; daughter Kerry; son Patrick and his wife Brittney; and three cherished granddaughters. His presence enriched the lives of those around him through both his actions and enduring spirit.
Friends and neighbors will certainly miss his helpful and positive personality.
May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
