Paul LoGrasso, age 71, passed away peacefully at home the morning of March 4th, 2018 after a short battle with an aggressive cancer diagnosis. Paul was born on October 11th, 1946 in Serradifalco, Sicily. He came to the United States with his family at the age of 9 and was raised in Rochester, New York. At the age of 17, Paul opened his first business before selling it to serve in the U.S. Army. Paul moved to Los Angeles, California in 1974 to be closer to his sister, Lena, and met the love of his life, his wife of 40 years, Patricia. Paul managed various Thrifty Drug Stores over 10 years throughout Southern California before opening a successful window covering business. After attempting to retire, Paul went back to work as a purchasing manager for Century Blinds. Once Paul and Pat retired officially, they moved to the central coast for 6 years where they fell in love with the area. They became very involved with the Mission San Antonio de Padua, and enjoyed serving together in various capacities.
Paul is preceded in death by is sister, Betty DiFrancesco and his granddaughter Vincenza. Paul is survived by his wife, Patricia, his four children and 9 grandchildren: Sandie & Colin Probert, Nicholas, Stephanie and Trevor of Stevenson Ranch, CA, Steve & Traci Porretta, Vienna of Eagle Mt, UT, and Kelsey of Daytona Beach, FL , Sam LoGrasso, Paul and Parker of Fontana, CA and Michelina & Scott Cooper, Abbigale and Zachary of Atoka, TN. Paul is also survived by three sisters, many loving nieces and nephews, and a large extended family.
A funeral mass to honor Paul's life will be held March 27th 2018 at 10am at St. Peter & St. Paul Catholic Church in Alta Loma, CA. Reception will follow immediately in the church hall.
