Pauline Therese Zakaib

Pauline Therese Zakaib passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026 at 74 years of age, in Bellingham WA, after coping with multiple health issues for several years.

She was born in Montreal, Canada as the only child of (the late) Adrien and Adele Zakaib of Montreal, Canada. She is survived by her husband Lawrence Pang whom she met in 1971.

Pauline graduated with a B.Ed from McGill University, Montreal in 1975. She worked at Bell Canada in customer services for 12 years. She moved with her husband to Oakville, ON and Brecksville, OH, before settling in the Pacific Northwest, in Birch Bay, WA for 18 years.

She enjoyed her kitties, taking care of her plants and her outdoor birds, especially hummingbirds, cooking, various crafts, petsitting, cruising and traveling the world.
